The Open Campus Celebrates Over 20 Years of Creating Dynamic Futures

Think of Open Campus as a campus without walls. Our SACS accredited programs are not limited to one physical location -- they're positioned within the College, businesses, military installations, and across the globe via the Internet.

Our roots are in continuing education serving the needs of individuals, groups, and employers through the Women's Center, economic development and training, military locations, and on our cable television channel. We’ve branched out and grown, and are now offering credit and noncredit programs and courses onsite and online, locally and around the world to over 30,000 students.

This year we have expanded our customized training to focus on our Military Education Institute and Institute for Financial Studies to serve sailors at Great Lakes, Illinois. Sailors will become students and be able to earn an AA or AS degree as they pursue careers and diplomas simultaneously through our growing Virtual College.
