Propose a Course

Thank you for your interest in teaching a course for the non-credit Continuing Education program of Florida Community College's Open Campus.

New courses are introduced at the beginning of each term--Fall, Spring and Summer. Your course will be reviewed and selected based on the following guidelines:

  • Does your course complement and not conflict with the other courses offered through the Open Campus Continuing Education program?

  • Is this a current, unique and marketable topic?

  • Is there a potential audience?

  • Will the course be economically feasible?

After reviewing your proposal, the Open Campus staff will contact you to discuss the details of your course. Keep in mind, we may need to make adjustments to the course to ensure its success in our program and schedule.

We always welcome and encourage ideas, comments and suggestions from our students and instructors; and we appreciate your taking the time to submit this course proposal to us.

If you have questions, please contact us at cschwart@fccj.edu, 904.633.8291
