Certified Employee Benefits Specialist Program (CEBS)
Summer 2008

Broaden Your Knowledge In Employee Benefits

Whether you are a seasoned professional or relatively new to the field, the Certified Employee Benefits Specialist program can help you broaden your knowledge of employee benefits. This eight-course series focuses on the "why" of employee-benefit practices, rather than on the "how-to." Much of the curriculum discusses contemporary issues in the industry, giving students practices, rather than on the "how-to." Much of the curriculum discusses contemporary issues in the industry, giving students practical knowledge about current issues that they can use immediately on the job.

Gain Professional Recognition

The CEBS designation is the most widely recognized and highly respected designation in the field, awarded since 1976 to professionals who have distinguished themselves by successfully completing the comprehensive eight-course curriculum. CEBS designees are eligible to join the International Society of Certified Employee Benefits Specialists, which provides continuing education and networking opportunities.

CEBS curriculum content and standards are set by the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School, and the program is administered by the International Foundation of Employee Benefits Plans. The CEBS program is truly the premier professional-development program in the industry.
