Rights and Pricing
A telecourse license provides the following rights:
- to use the series for credit, non-credit, and certificate courses;
- to receive the faculty manual;
- to tape the programs for audiovisual use in classrooms, in libraries, and other learning centers both on and off campus for students enrolled in the telecourse during the term of the telecourse license.
- digital rights upon request.
Prerecorded videocassettes or video CDs may be obtained from Florida Community College at Jacksonville for an additional fee for telecourse use only. The right to use the programs for supplemental purposes can be obtained through the purchase of prerecorded videocassettes or video CDs. Telecourse student fees apply to all telecourse licenses except the non-credit or broadcast only options.
Multiple-college license fee discounts are available to a group of all licensing a specific course during a common license period. Multiple college discounts need to be administered through a consortium or central licensing organizations. All members of the consortium need to be located within a single broadcast market or public television network. The two-term license must consist of two consecutive terms (for example fall-spring or spring-summer); the one-year license can be either an academic year (fall-winter-spring-summer) or a calendar year (winter-spring-summer-fall).
Enrollment fees $22 per student enrollment fees apply.
For low enrollment classes, an optional fee structure is available at $40 per student per term with no license fee.
